Agnostic Blessings: February Blossoms

Blessing #492

February Blossoms

I looked out the window, and what did I see?
Popcorn popping on the apricot tree.
February has brought me such a nice surprise,
Popcorn popping right before my eyes.

I can take an armful and make a treat,
A popcorn ball that would smell so sweet.
It wasn't really so, but it seemed to me,
Popcorn popping on the apricot tree.

Did you write this, Jason? Or is it something from your childhood? Either way, I'm going to STEAL it!

Ha Ha. Spring in So Cal. We are supposed to get more snow tonight/tomorrow. Good news for the skiers and snowboarders. I am ready for spring, myself.

Dammit dammit dammit! Primary Earworm strikes again!

But I've got one for you:

I'm a MORMON! YES, I AM!
So if you want to study a Mormon, I'm a Living SPE-CI-MAN!

Just TRY to get that little number out of your head...for a week.

Curse you Mr. Show! (also MWAH!)

Oh, for some blossoms around here. Alas, only dirt.

Did you really make that up? You need to watch more tv so you have less time on your hands...like me.

Great poem, reminiscent of Shel Silverstein. You've made me hungry for kettle corn. Or possibly just a peanut butter and apricot jam sandwich. Yes, I think I'll have one right now.

I'm linking to your post about self love today. You inspired me to - well, come over and check it out! :)

Damn you Jason. Why do you do this at least once a week?

The missionaries came over yesterday looking for a service project. Damn those cute boys.

Bronson said, "missionaries are like stray cats, if you feed them once they keep coming back."

I feel awful shooing them away, but I do NOT need to get roped back in.....

Besides, if I did get roped back in, it would be from your stupid songs you post here that I end up singing all week long.
